JOB DESCRIPTION: Report directly to the Managing Director of a worldwide business
development company. This
position has significant administrative responsibilities with daily
guidance and on-the-job training.
In addition, you will have a supporting role in several exciting
projects, such as:
- Development projects which are funded by
the World Bank
- International expansion of communications
and software companies
- Private Equity and Funds
- For-Profit and Non-Profit Fundraising
projects.
Note that this is *not* a sales job.
This position will help you learn on many aspects of global
account management, private equity development, and partnership
agreements between both domestic and international businesses in
multiple industries. Some of
your responsibilities will include:
- Office Administration
- Create business models and business plans
- Developing partnership agreements
- Market research and analytics
- Manage entire projects
- Work directly with clients
- Provide organizational support
- Research, collect and compile data and other documentation from various sources
- Assist partners with research and review
related projects
- Draft correspondence and other legal
documents.
- Act as direct liaison between clients and
partners
PROFILE OF THE CANDIDATE: This role is for a person who is
able to competently perform a variety of Administrative activities, but
also has a strong desire to learn how to perform more advanced roles.
You must be highly proficient at business writing. We require a minimum
of two years of relevant work experience. Ability to understand and
analyze business needs from multiple perspectives is required.
Proficiency with MS Office software applications, including Excel, Word,
and PowerPoint is required. Excellent interpersonal, verbal
communication skills are required. The ability to communicate results,
ideas, concepts, and measures to the business is crucial to the role.
Knowledge of SAS, Minitab, Cognos, Business Objects or Access a plus.
Extremely high work ethic required.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Strong desire to expand your skills and learn management roles
- High School Diploma
- Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
- Strong Internet skills
- BA/BS desired (MBA will give you a strong advantage)
- At least two references must be available upon request
